About Us

Hi! My name is Ruhi Jain, and I am the founder of Monarch Advising. I graduated from Monte Vista High School in Danville, California, in 2020 and will receive my bachelor’s degree from Indiana University in May 2024. I’ve been a college counselor for high school students for over 4 years. I had the privilege of receiving admission to schools like the University of San Francisco, University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill, Indiana University Bloomington, Purdue, UC San Diego, University of Arizona, University of Washington (Seattle), Pomona, Santa Clara University, and much more. Other counselors on my team have gotten acceptances into Babson College, UMICH, UCLA, UC Berkeley for the GMP program, UC Davis, UC Santa Barbra, UC Santa Cruz, and all of the CSUs. In addition, my team and I have received various merit scholarships totaling 200k.

I know from experience that applying for colleges can be quite confusing, scary, and stressful. I’d be happy to help applicants brainstorm, edit essays, help with their main application, etc. All meetings will be conducted via Zoom. I can also assist with a variety of subjects and tutor your child! I have taken several AP classes and fully understand the curriculum and rigor expected. After graduating, I’ve seen how important it is to build a strong portfolio or resume in a specific field. I can assist with finding future internships, volunteer opportunities, and projects on which they can showcase their leadership skills.
